About

Silent Clamor Press is a traditional publisher founded to champion deeply meaningful stories that revive the imagination and honor the authentic human voice. We publish works inspired by genuine experience and visionary insight — books that reveal timeless emotional truths and illuminate one life through another. Our mission is rooted in respect for both author and reader, and we believe the most lasting connections are forged through the intimacy of story.

While independently operated, we collaborate with trusted readers, editors, and artists to uphold the highest standards in both content and presentation. Silent Clamor Press is managed by John W. Jarrett, MFA, available at editions@silentclamor.com.

John W. Jarrett oversees the day-to-day operations of Silent Clamor Press, guiding each book from acquisition to publication with a focus on integrity, clarity of vision, and meaningful collaboration. An MFA graduate and author of two literary Westerns that explore the moral and existential frontiers of the human spirit, he brings to publishing the same curiosity and care that guide his own creative work.

With a background in cross-disciplinary project management and a lifelong engagement with philosophical inquiry, John is drawn to the liminal spaces where thinkers and artists confront the ineffable—through the lenses of consciousness, intimacy, mortality, and transcendence. He believes in the courage required to face what lies at the boundary of human experience and return with insights that, however imperfectly expressed, illuminate profound truths.

This conviction shapes Silent Clamor Press’s commitment to literature that ventures beyond the familiar—works that confront mystery, seek meaning, and remind us of the transformative depths of human experience.

Fatima Hassan is an independent developmental and copy editor dedicated to helping authors transform their manuscripts into their most polished and impactful form. With an interdisciplinary Master’s in Literature and Social Sciences, she brings insight into storytelling, critical thought, and everyday socio-political dilemmas. Over the years, she has edited more than 150 titles spanning literary and historical fiction, narrative nonfiction, self-development literature, political commentary, and works in the social sciences.

Fatima believes it takes a village to bring a book to life, for every book is the essence of an author’s vision, imagination, and lived experience brought together on the page. As an editor, Fatima sees her role as a trusted partner in that creative journey—helping authors refine their ideas while preserving the heart of their story. Guided by a value-driven ethos, her approach to editing is detailed, sensitive, informed, and deeply sincere.

Beyond editing, she rejoices in international music, daydreaming, and in tracing the visible and invisible politics that shapes human life.
